Solar Farms
This project tackled both erosion and dust challenges across different stages of development in Belfast, Christchurch. Through strategic hydro mulching applications, Instant Green delivered sediment control in winter and dust suppression in summer, protecting the subdivision and surrounding community.
Wind Farms
Turitea Windfarm
As New Zealand’s largest wind farm, Turitea required rapid revegetation to progress through construction stages efficiently. Poor soils, high winds, and an exposed site added to the challenge. Instant Green provided hydro mulching and erosion control that enabled continuous works while protecting the environment.

Maramarua Coal Mine
Mine rehabilitation at Maramarua required a specialised approach to restore vegetation and stabilise soils with little organic matter. Instant Green applied a soil blanket and hydro mulching system designed to promote growth, prevent erosion, and accelerate closure of worked areas. The result: a thriving vegetative cover that exceeded compliance standards.
