What is Mycorrhizal Fungi

They create a mutually beneficial relationship where the fungi provide nutrients to the plants, and the plants provide sugars to the fungi through photosynthesis.
How does it work?

Mycorrhizal fungi form an intricate web that captures and assimilates nutrients from the soil to the roots.
